This toolkit was created to help educate and raise awareness about systems of prostitution and potential consequences of full decriminalization of the sex trade.
This toolkit serves as a resource that provides information about the different models addressing prostitution. It’s goal is to educate about the inextricable links to sex trafficking, including the harm, violence, and death that may result from activities within the sex trade. This document also identifies the demographics and behaviors of profiteers (pimps, pornographers, strip club owners, and managers, etc.)
and purchasers (“johns, buyers”) of commercial sex. Lastly, this toolkit discusses strategies to halt the spread of erroneous information in the fight against sex trafficking within our communities.
